Does $1,000 screens really makes a difference?

I know that this might be a stupid question but I was just wondering. I have a PJL830 (Davis 450 clone) projector and I am using a Da-Lite Matte White screen. will I really see a big difference if I were to spend over a thousand dollar in a screen compare to the $ 135.00 that I paid for the one I am using now?

Yes. It all depends on what you are buying. there are cheaper ways to get to that higher grade screen than spending the $1000, though. It all depends on whether or not you wish to do a bit of work yourself....
