any help would be appreciated on this. Everything is hooked up but the mouse on the keyboard will not work. I tried to select Logitek serial mouse when using the add hardware wizard in XP but no luck. Mouse will not work on the keyboard until the serial port is properly configured. I do not have the airboard driver disk and the driver i downloaded from another site is for the airboard control panel to configure the hotkeys. Nothing for the mouse.
You should not need any additional driver for the mouse. The generic serial mouse driver included with Windows XP should work -- it always has for me. My HTPC is currently not connected, so I cannot verify any of the serial port settings.
what do i look under in the device manager to control the serial port? Maybe this is why it is not working, different baud rate maybe. Or do i have to go into the BIOS to activate the serial ports, i don't recall seeing this option in device manager, only for COM/Printer ports.
