I think you are misunderstanding Onyx. It's a high-end line sold to specialty dealers and custom installers. The underlying display panels used by Panasonic are the same in Onyx, Viera and the commercial line (assuming all are on the same generation of panel which ought to be true by January).


There will never be a commercial version of Onyx because the concept is a bit of an oxymoron. But there already are commercial versions of the panels used in Onyx.
