Well, there are more countries than US and EU =)

You may want to visit the japanese canon website (.jp/projector)


Under [mode] you can see the throw(with and w/o zoom, yepp 1.7 zoom) and the offset.


Also, take some time to read(use the fish=)) about canon [AISYS] and why the incident light is very important when it come to increase contrast ratio(PBS) to LCoS.
