I have a younger cousin whom I have stepped in to help finish setting up his first very entry level HT system. The room is *squints* say about 20' x 35' and has a few odd shapes and placement challenges. He is on an extremely limited budget, and I sugggested the Partsexpress Dayton 10" to him to keep him from buying some POS like the $79 KLH sub at BestBuy. I've already warned him that a small sub just isn't going be able to handle a big and odd shaped room well, but the money is definite a factor. So, do you guys who have heard the 10" Dayton think it will be able to handle a room this size? He isn't expecting large amounts of bass, just something to fill in below 100hz from his little Sony bookshelf speakers and keep his music from sounding so thin. Thanks, guys, for any help.
