The Panamoprh and the LT150 do work together. There is thread that discusses the details of how to get this combination to work, but it requires a combination of projector tilt and Panamorph tilt to achieve the correct compression and geometry, and finally projector vertical offset to correct for keystone.

Joe,

I have searched again and only see a post by REF that reported a nice image from a Davis 450. Maybe I am missing a thread somewhere?

If there has been anyone who has gotten a satisfactory result from the combination of a panamorph and an LT-150 in particular, I would like to know.

Thanks,

Doug

Hi shodoug,

The search feature sometimes doesn't find what you want. Even though I knew what I was looking for it took me a few minutes to track down the thread I mentioned. I hope it helps.

On the third page of this thread Shawn explains the problem with non edge aligned projectors. The LT150 is a non edge aligned projector.

On the forth page of the same thread

Kirk explains how to set up the LT150 with the Panamorph and the tradeoffs that are present.

Here is a photo by Kirk. It's a test pattern seen through the LT150 and the Panamorph

Shawn has developed a technical solution to this problem that accounts for the non edge aligned projectors. Currently he is offering an upgrade program to all Panamorph owners. The new lens will be the P752Pro. It will be a little harder to set up the Pro version of the lens, but it will allow for better results with less need to reposition the projector. If you search the recent posts by Shawn you should find a discussion of that lens.

Thanks again Joe.

I followed the drama up until about 9/6/01. I apparently missed the thread then, and stopped searching earlier than that date.,

I guess the modified 752PRO is the only option.

What to do, what to do???
