Does Samsung have any new models coming in March

That are worth waiting for? So far I'm sold on the current model lineup and a cheaper price. What are your thoughts?

I've read comments on here that they will likely have more models to announce mid-year. I'm hoping they will release new LED models in that time frame. I really want to get an 81 series.

They announced new models at CES that will come out sometime in March, no new LED models though.
Well, there are several sizes missing from the CES announcements that seem to support other posters suggestion that they will announce more models mid-year. Supposedly they announced the current 81's mid-year, instead of at that years CES. We shall see.
If you track the models debut on Amazon which closely follows the actual distribution channel the 65 Series Debuted between early March and mid April 2007 and depending on size they occur at slightly different times.

The newer 71 series is listed as late August early September.

Doesn't mean they follow the exact pattern but they have been close over the years with Samsung having more than one release period during the year the newer higher end 71/81 came from a new plant they had finished.

It's sometimes difficult to track by owners thread when fights have occurred and the moderator may have close a thread and a new one pop's up to replace it at a later date and you end up with a newer version and new dates.

They may follow the Sony debuts closely also but Sony typically keeps it secret until they have their Sony Show in Feb/March.

I believe there will be new model(s) coming out in March/April for their Summer lineups, probably the 6 and 7 series, and then some other new model(s) coming out in September, really for the holiday shopping season.
I thought this would be the year where LCDs would have typical sizes in the 60" range. I can't even put an LCD list on my short list to compare when 52" is the largest typical size. If a 60" Samsung with a street price of $5k was available I could at least give it a long hard look and compare it to the Kuros. LCD has really made strides in the last few years but I just haven't read any news from CES that tells me they've improved much over the current models (specifically referring to deeper black levels).

The largest LCD from Samsung is 57", Samsung LN-T5781.
I am hoping that Samsung at long last comes out with at least one (non-glossy?) thin bezel model- even SONY is breaking down in their new Z series. In my heart I want a Samsung,

yet the 40 and 46 models so far are impossibly wide for my apartment space.

That's an 07 model though and only in Magnolia stores. I find it interesting that it appears Samsung didn't show or announce any info about any local dimming models like the 81 series
.
