It has an X brace. It was added very early in the production cycle. Some of the reviewers were given pre-production or first run units without the brace. Ron Stimpson posted this info a few weeks ago.

Does SVS PB10-ISD have internal bracing?
Acc. to some of the early reviews, the PB10-ISD did *not* have internal braces causing "boominess" (ie. sound decay time > 1sec) and the reviewer had recommended that SVS consider adding braces to dampen the sound.
Does anyone know if SVS took this advice and added bracing to the current shipping version of PB10-ISD?
I see the SVS site mentioning something about "superbrace" for the PB12, but nothing about braces for the PB10.
Even if PB10 does not have braces, 1) how would you rate it's "boominess"? and 2) should I just get the PB12 (my room is about 12" x 14", unenclosed) because it has braces?
