I ask because I use the infamous ecs k7s5a.


Usually manufacturers request that high resource cards are not used in PCI 5 or 6 as they are not usually primary slots. This is also related to the SBLive - VIA thing.


I have my Delta in slot 5. Is latency and other stuff improved by moving it up a slot?


Is this an issue?

I have my Delta 410 in slot 5 on an Intel MB without any problems.

Yup me to, Asus mobo with Athlon 1.2, latest via drivers and XP.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. I run mine at the bottom (slot 5) without problems.
