After running several searches, I haven't seen anyone directly ask this question: does the Denon DVD-2200 have a chroma filter to counter the Interlaced Chroma Problem (ICP)?

Since it's using the SiI504 engine, I assume it doesn't, am I right?

Well, I think I might have answered my own question. I just used DVE's MPEG Decoder test (Chapter 15, section 7) on the 2200, and I saw streaks running across the red triangles near the upper left portion of the screen (the figure I'm referring to looks like two red triangles, one normal, one inverted). However, when I compared this result to my Denon DVD-4800, the triangles appeared perfectly solid, without any streaking. I guess the 2200 definitely has the same video issues as the 2900, which is a damn shame.
