There is no grill (cover, whatever it is called). It's just an open speaker. Is that just a bad picture? The one I saw in the store had a cover, I thought. Thanks.

Yes it does have a front grill that snaps into place. Unfortuneately the grill also makes the front controls inaccessible so I usually leave it off.
