Does the name or quality of component video cables really make a difference??

I know that for the coax cable using rg6 makes a difference compared to rg59. You can see it. It is quite noticeable. Does the component coming from your satellite or dvd player make a difference though? Does name or quality matter??? I would like some examples. Thanks.
