Does the Toshiba SD-4700 have the chroma bug? I know it uses the Zoran Vaddis V chip... any word if this chip has any video problems?

Apparently, Yes, it does have the bug. However, that being said, I looked over and over at a couple of different DVDs and noticed it only minimally. In chap. 4 of Toy Story the only place I saw it exhibited was when Woody is standing behind the barrel address the rest of the toys. The top of the barrel is red and on the far right and left sides of the top you can see (if you look for it - I had to pause it to see it for sure) some slight horizontal lines. In real time it looks like the edges of the top just aren't quite as detailed as everything else.

Toshiba DVD players have always had it and it is minor compared to other DVD players. However, I am very disappointed that Zoran has failed to fix it. They were notified a very long time ago. Sounds like the RP91 is still a better choice.
