I have a bunch of recorded OTA shows in dvr-ms format on my Vista machine. Will be buying a Win7 machine soon. Will WMC 7 play the dvr-ms files without problem? I.e., does the metadata display correctly in the WMC 7 interface? Do the files play w/o hiccup? Thanks!

They will play just fine, the only thing to note is that if you recorded team using an OCUR tuner (cablecard) and the recording had the no-copy flag set it won't play.


If your tuners don't use cablecards, you don't need to worry about anything and the files will just play.
