The only one I have watched so far was "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken". I viewed this with a crt pj on a 45"X80" screen. While not as good as the new release of the "Apple Dumpling Gang" it still looks very good for it's age and will worth the $9.35 I paid.

The Don Knotts movies are good wholesome family entertainment.

My wife, knowing I love Don Knotts, gave me the16 episode CD of the old Andy Griffith Show last Christmas. Funny, I’ve only watched half of them, but thanks to this thread as a reminder, I’ll dig it out from under the music CD’s and finish it off.

Seriously and I mean seriously, I was decimated as a kid when Don left the Andy Griffith Show and went on his own. I lived to laugh at him every week because I grew up (until I was 13) living in a place similar to Mayberry. I could easily go on, but what a character…Barney Fife…I just have to laugh as I type that name…Barney Fife. Don Knotts, “Your hero,†my wife tells me.

I'll have to print this thread and give it to the wife as a Christmas reminder.

What was the name of the one with Him and Tim Conway as a Holmes and watson pair. All I can remember is Tim Conway kept referring to a "WOOKALAR"

"The Private Eyes" is a good movie. However it has only been released in full screen. The only Knotts/Conway movie I know of that have been released in widescreen to date is "The Apple Dumpling Gang". Hopefully they will soon be releasing the rest of them in widescreen. Don knots and Tim Conway made an excellent comedy team!

That's a cringe inducing phrase though.
