Dear Eric,
I just got back from Infocomm and am on my way out the door for the weekend, so I can not calculate all the sizes at this time. (BTW, if anyone has some time on there hands it would be well appreciated) .
I can say that the past 3 years the most popular HT screen size in the States is 100 inch in both 4 by 3 and 16 by 9 aspect ratios. The trend for LCD and DILA projectors is now moving to larger screens with 16 by 9 aspect ratios.
The average screen size for HT in both Europe and Asia are somewhat smaller than the States. When I get back to the office I can get the exact average differences for you. If time permits, I will post the number sometime next week.
Regards,
Don

Originally posted by uncle Eric: Hi Don, Great thread and poll. Since most of us also put down screen size as well as you 'aspect ratio' request, do you have any screen size percentages. For example what would you say the average screen size is. Also, would you say that you sell larger screens in the U.S and smaller in Europe??? All the above would be interesting to know. best wishes Eric (Electric T.tentioned studiotek 130 100" dig 16x9) |
