You disappoint me. Every jacuzzi in the world is high voltage to run the motors. Obviously, the plasma in behind a water proof screen. They have been selling these things for years now in smaller versions with small TV's built in. How is it any more dangerous than sitting in a jacuzzi in the first place?

And besides that, what better way to die (think of all the things you could be watching).

You don't even have to apologize for this minor error in judgement - I pronounce you forgiven.

Ah, my arch nemesis...

Well Mr. smarty pants, most Jacuzzis have the motors external to the soaking area...Not within reach of wet hands or other body parts.

I've yet to see a water proof screen of any sort hold up to a 200lb man with a few beers in his gut, and a randy woman nearby.

I can think of lots of ways to die better than electrocution. Instead of watching the naughty bits, I could be doing the naughty bits and die of a heart attack :p

I'll save the forgiveness as one get of jail free card...I'm sure I'll need it later ;)

Well, I don't particularly favor 'getting fried' and in the nude, either.

I'm just wodering if there is a waterproof InsulShield, and would a Buttshaker work in this environment. Talk about a different experience, 'Swamp Thing' and the like, could take on a new realism.

In all seriousness, these things must go through UL listing. I will be out on a job this week where several (not the plasma version) are going in and I will take a close look at it how they are implementing the waterproof screen. I would be very curious to know how they are venting the plasma.

I just found it interesting that they named this after my speakers. :) Even more so that they trademarked a name Klipsch has been using for about 50 years.

...and at $28,500 to start I can think of cheaper ways to go, too!

Obviously Jacuzzi is not looking to sell a ton of these, but boy what a conversation piece. Sort of the whirlpool industry's answer to the "concept car".

The company I work for is a distributor for Jacuzzi and at a recent trade show there were literally dozens of people gathered 'round their booth to take a gander at this baby. Judging by the number of posts I've seen at various HT forums on this topic word sure travels fast.
