This flyer from RTV, Panasonic and something called ABT Electronics came in the mail over the weekend... did you get one?


My wife handed it to me with a smirk.


It says that I can watch all my favorite Olympic events using a ReplayTV.


I'm guessing that this got lost in the mail, for about a month?


Well, hey then... let the Games begin!

The Olympic Zone was pretty much worthless due to the way NBC mixed the shows. For example, every single 4-hour block seemed to have some gymnastics in it.


With all the conflicts it caused, not one thing got recorded in any of my (wife's actually) Olympic Zones.


Not Replay's fault, NBC is the culprit. It didn't matter to me, I was boycotting the games due to the web and email censorship issues. Didn't watch more than 10 minutes.

There is no "Ping Pong" at the Olympics. "Ping Pong" is a game you play while drinking beer in your garage or basement.


Table Tennis, which is a sport, is played at the Olympics and had coverage. The showed 2 seconds of a player serving during the montage at the end of the games. Probably more that the US has ever seen. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/wink.gif
