Downmixing of next-gen formats

Do formats such as TrueHD downmix more "intelligently" than regular DD or DTS? I am reading things about "integrated coefficients" and I don't know what that even implies.


How do next-gen formats downmix better when downmixing is just mixing LS into LF, RS into RF, and C into LF+RF?
