Hey guys,

I am looking to add a sub to my system- currently Pioneer Elite vsx53-tx, Boston VR3s with VRC center, and small di-pole klipsch surrounds. Will be 80% movies, 20% for music. The music will always be Classic rock, jam bands etc and never rap!

Room is medium sized, but i rent and that might no always be the case.

The velodyne looks a lot nicer, has a recognizable brand name if i needed to resell it, and i have had good experiences with the brand.

The HSU products, however, seem to be a favorite of AVS patrons. Either could be had for about $400 shipped from the net.

thoughts?

thanks

The STF2 will provide better extension and output then the DPS10. I like the Velo's on board sound processer but hate its funky volume control. For all out performance, I would go with the STF2.

Hi

I would also recommend the HSU STF-2.

All the Best
