As stated above, this movie has been released by Disney. It was releaed for Xmas, but only to Disney members. It is supposed to get wide release in the next couple of months.
The movie has been fantastically restored, but more importantly, the release has 2 disks. One disk has the theatrical release, but the other has the original Disney TV show 3 part release. Never having seen the 3 parter, I was surprised by how much more there was to the story. Interestingly, the information in the disk states this was recorded in such a way that a HiDef release is more than possible. So that may come in the future.
