Looking at grabbing a draper hiDef grey cineperm scree. Any body have experience with this brand of screens? Can't find anything in the way of interviews online.

They are probably comparable to Da Lite which is good. It is interesting that their base pricing starts out at the same level as Da Lite but stays lower as you increase the screen size and add different fabrics. I have a Draper Contract Radiant which is like a High Power screen. I have ordered a larger screen from Draper because I do like their products. (Moving back up to 110 inch with a Pearl white screen.) By the way, Draper makes an excellent screen selector feature. I saw it on the Focused Technology site.

I just started looking at this screen since I found out that the HCHP was discontinued. The Draper appears to be a 2.7 gain screen. I'm wondering if it really is brighter than the HCHP at 2.4? Do you have any pics of the screen at work with lights on?
Hi - sorry I don't have any photos. My feeling is that you would be hard pressed to tell between the two different screens since the gain is so close. I can tell you that I used the lower bulb setting of the Optoma HD66 on the Da-Lite (which was bigger than the screen I have now - the new one has not arrived yet), and the lower setting on the Epson 3010, both with some ambient light, and thought the picture was great. This is based on mostly sports watching during the day. If you look at the Draper selector tool, I figure my ambient lighting is equivalent to their second brightest selection. If you haven't already, maybe search the screen section with "da-lite HP vs Draper HC", there are probably others who have more info. Hope this helps.
