I've decided the Rythmik dual-12 sealed project is best for my needs,so I'm pulling the trigger tomorrow.Construction will be 1" mdf covered by 1/2" mdf oak veneer.I hope two 4x8 sheets of each will be enough for a 6 cu ft cabinet.

Concerning the driver layout,am I limited to any particular configuration? I'd like one to face forward and the other to be downfiring. Also thinking a tall(48") cabinet which would be corner-loaded.

thanks

I believe that any incarnation of the push/pull would be fine, but I would oppose the drivers so that both backwaves run right into each other inside the box, cancelling each other out. This would decrease cabinet movement.

Ideally, a push-pull arrangement would have the drivers opposed as Eric said, cancelling box vibrations, AND one driver would be mounted "inside out" to cancel any non-linearities of the drivers. Ulimately though, I built mine with one vertical and one horizontal, kind of like what you want to do (but one was top mounted, since my sub is near the ceiling), because I didn't want any drivers visible. So really, you can do it however you want. You pick the benefits you want to gain that fit within your design preferences.
