DSCALER & Frame Blanking

Does anyone know if it is possible to blank the frame of dscaler, similar to what YXY would do? I'm running a DLS8 FPTV 4x3 native aspect and a masked 16x9 screen. This was ok for DVD, but now that I'm using dscaler for cable, I'm running in 4x3 letterbox cropping the picture. I'd like to run 4x3 inside the 16x9 window and have the dscaler frame blanked. Is this in the software now?

I'm not sure, but I think you can use YxY to do this too.

Yeah, I know YXY can do this, but it would be a cleaner solution if Dscaler had the option to turn off border/frame/menu etc...

Tab toggles the menus on and off.

s turns the status bar on and off.

With both of these off, YxY can blank everything else out.

Great, thanks for the tip. I run a blank desktop anyway, so I don't think I'll need to run YXY.
