[Hank Perkins]

Just got my htpc. It has the KBK card and Dscaler. on film based stuff it looks amazing not dvd quality but very good. On sports it has quite a bit of judder. Is there any solution for this? I sould deal with a lower quality picture(if necessary to solve the judder problem. All of this is using cable as my source. What was amazing was how good the commercials and low motion closeups looked as compared to the football action. Where it looked the worst was on high/medium motion, closeups.

You will have to look at changing the deinterlacing algorithms, uner the denterlacing mode tab, under settings. The wrong mode will cause stutter in the image. Sports require specific modes to look clean,and the auto select might have to be turned off. There are more experts here than i, though. I just use the thing, I don't know it's intricacies.
