DTC-100 to JVC G11 D-ila = MAC13?

261 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  mase
-I moved my DTC100 from the computer 2 input (where it has resided for 3 years) to the computer 1 input

-The G11 auto-selects Mac13, and the HD selections are greyed out

Any ideas? I read the manual and I thought that both computer 1 & 2 are capable of displaying 720p & 1080i

I have a Momitsu v880 that now resides on input 2. If I need to share, any ideas other than switching cables (yuk).

Thanks!

I re-read the manual and it only mentions Computer 2 and component in as being able to display 720p & 1080i.

If anyone knows different please let me know.

Looks like I need 3 30 foot long component cables. :(
Yep,

On DiLA's, only Computer2 and Component Video truly support HDTV.

Also IMO, Computer2 is better at rendering HDTV (color, etc), when compared to Component Video.
Andrew is correct

You have to use Computer 2 for HD
Per Andrews suggestion I am going with a KVM SWITCH. Input the V880 & DTC-100 (next week will be a Hughes box as I am doing the $99 Dtv upgrade), output via VGA to RGBHV.

Thanks Andrew!
