[VG1385]

Hello, I know there had been an issue (especially with Yamaha and Onkyo amps) with regards to bit streaming DTS HD Master Audio and receiving a popping sound...Yamaha has even issued firmware updates for a couple of models but I am using the RX-V663 and there has been nothing for it...I am using the Oppo BDP-83 (great player) and just purchased the amp maybe half a year ago....I like the quality of bit streaming and don't want to have to buy a new receiver to avoid this issue

...if anybody has any news or help with this it would be appreciated

Did you check back on the 663 thread? It should cover this, if the 663 had this problem.

Please let us know if this resolved your issue. I am also interested since I ordered an OPPO BDP-83 for my RX-V663, so cannot test this since I did not receive it yet.
