The new Panasonic 3-D Blu-ray spec calls for two 1080i video streams to be sent over a single cable from the Blu-ray player to the display for use with 3-D LCD shutterglasses.

Question is, does the HDMI 1.3 spec support this, and do receivers that implement it pass dual 1080i video streams on a single cable - or will we need to bypass our receivers for dual channel 3-D HDMI video? I am aware the HDMI 1.3 spec has provisions for very high bandwidth signals, but I can't find any info about dual 1080i streams on a single HDMI cable.
