Just wondering if I would run dual subs not co-located and would use a BFD for my EQ would I need a BFD for each sub or just one for both and EQ them together?? Thanks.

Must be an unusual laptop. I've never run into any that have the necessary duplex operation needed for an app like REW.

well, if it's working then it is ok.
duplex sound cards are able to output (a test signal) and input (the mic) on the same channel at the same time. i've had four or five laptops and none of them had duplex. all required an external usb sound "card."

nope, it's working. i'm using the headphone output jack sending the sweep to my receiver and then i plugged my ECM8000/MXL usb Mic Mate into one of my USB ports. i've used it like this with TrueRTA as well. i'm using an IBM Thinkpad T43.

Mic Mate into a USB? Then that's two separate "devices" and your onboard sound is probably not duplex. But, it's working, so you're good to go!

I actually have a couple questions about this as well.
1. Most BFD models have two channels so you could EQ two subs separately, correct?
2. If you have two subs which are not co-located, with one being significantly closer to the seating position than the other, can you use the BFD to introduce a delay to the one further away?
3. If I get a passive sub, should the BFD go between my pro/pro and the sub amp, or between the amp and the sub?
Thanks in advance for the help.
