I've had my VT50 for a few weeks now and after dusting off the screen I noticed there was a dust particle or perhaps a chip in the backside of the glass behind the TV glass. The "particle" has a blue tint to it so it could be something else altogether. I used a magnifying glass to take a closer look but I still could not make a conclusion. If it is a dust particle, I can live with it as it does not impact viewing. If it is a chip in the glass, then I don't want to risk it expanding


Anyone have experience with this?

I had a VT50 with a piece of lint behind the glass. Another VT50 owner had the same issue, and he was able to give his TV a good THUNK with his finger and it fell out of view. I tried the same and has equal success. I'd give that a try.

Describe good thunk. I did lightly tap on the screen with no luck
