I was thinking about this today. Anyone try to adapt one of those great vaccum hepa filters to a dustbox? I have quite a number of quarter inch presentation grade acrylic sheets, (I suppose its the stuff they make sales display with, you know, where they slide a SALE sign between a folded sheet of acrylic). This stuff is easily bent with heat, or cut. I could use a large AC fan (9 inches) to suck fresh air through one filter, and the hot air could go through another (on top). My only question is : will this decrease the PQ? How good optically is acrylic?
