Hi all...


I was going to say team...because that's almost what you guys are =)


Anyway, I'm starting to play with DVA's ability to stream to my PC. I have VLC set up and it opens when I select "play show." But, almost immediately, I get the following in my messages tab:

ERROR: Unable to send Streaming response error No such show found - Software caused connection abort: socket write error


Any suggestions?

The first thing I would check with any "show not found" error would be the clock on the computer. If it's off by too much, no shows will be found.

Could this be the case, even if I can see the shows in DVA?

Yes -- restart DVA. If you can stream (immediatly after restarting -- well, wait a minute or so), then it's likely your computer clock has drifted quite a bit from where it was when you started DVA.


If you get this error right after you start, then it's likely something else (networkish).
