I recently got the Zenith player and am enjoying the great picture on my X1. I am aware of the right side cropping issue with 1080i (BTW this also happens with the Dish 811 HD receiver when set to 1080i), but am yet to come accross the 'lost sync' issue.


Can someone suggest a DVD I can check out to see if the X1 loses sync when fed the 1080i signal from this player ?

Has anyone verified if upgrading the firware on X1 fixes the problem ? The last time I checked, it seemed that people were divided on this. I can now fairly consistently repeat the sync loss problem on DVDs that have scenes with bright white flashes.
