My lvd-2001 broke. I think I'd like to replace it. Is there a way to make sure I can find one with old firmware only? I don't want to order one from say amazon only to have to send it back because it has broken software.

LOL, we must average about three of these a week. You want to see earlier than June 2004 on the back of the unit. Order from Amazon, if you hvae June or later, send it back as a defect, make the exchange until you get it right.
