It may have been asked before, but searching on DVD Author turns out a TON of hits....


What I want to do:


Take a bunch of half hour episodes of a series...

Edit out commercials with ReVue

Author them to DVD with a menu that allows me to select which episode I want to watch.


I'd prefer a freeware or CHEEP method...

Recommend you try a free program called "TMPGenc Author" . It has the capability you need to author and burn your individual mpegs onto separate tracks on the DVD and create the associated menu structure.

It's sure not free, like 70$... but I'll give it a whirl.

My mistake on "TMPGenc Author" cost being free. I confused it with their free version of "TMPGenc Encoder"..

If you're not afraid to get your hand really dirty, http://dvdauthor.sourceforge.net/ works well for me. I don't do menus with it, but it's not too hard.
