I am using a HTPC to feed my projector. It runs OK with most of the DVDs.
But with some DVDs, the drive appeared to freeze up during playback at a particular scene. It was always the same scene each time I tried. If I had waited long enough (say 30 minuets), things could go back to normal for a few seconds, until it freezed up again, and again, until it eventually came upon a "good" scene, and everything would be normal again.
If I skip the problematic scene, everything will go back to normal.
I played the same DVDs on my regular DVD player, and everything played just fine. A good example would be the movie "Road to Perdition", the dive always get stuck on the "father teaching son to drive" scene
Can anybody help me with this problem?
