My SD DVD collection is over 800 and growing. I would like to get some sort of jukebox stlye setup for my DVD's. I'm put off with some of the clunkiness and shortcomings of the Sony CX 995.

I use a HTPC for some things in my home theater now, primarily TheaterTek and some sort of HTPC jukebox interface might be good. I don't think I want to rip my DVD's to hard drives.

Can anyone comment on what some good options might be in order of cost and functionality that would be the next step up from a CX 995? Is there anything new on the horizon that might be worth having a look at?

Thank you.

I use "DVD Jukebox" from Wintek Software Company (you can Google them).

It controls Pioneer, Sony, and Kenwood DVD mega-changers. It uses a Windows Media Center type interface and a wired or wireless controller for controlling up to 12 changers. Hope this helps. -- Alan
