DVD Player for Piano HE-3100

With all the problems and limited choices for my projector, I’ve given up on DVI players (non HDCP). Can anyone suggest a good Component Video DVD player for the Piano HE-3100? Below the 1000 Cdn (About 800).


Currently using S-Video, but my player is showing it’s age. Still very happy with the Piano.

Yamakawa 288. You can find plenty of info on the dvd player forum. I'm also a very happy Piano owner (almost 3 years). I use component output and the picture is noticably better and the yamakawa also plays scratched discs perfectly that my old player (Pioneer 409) would not. And the Yamakawa is region free. And the price is right.
