DVD Player with NO ONSCREEN ICONS

Hello everyone, and thanks for the read.


I need to find a DVD player that has no on-screen icons- the "play" triangle, the "pause" ||, etc. the controls need to be silent.


The DVD Player also need to be Mid-Range max $750 Also DVI w/o hdcp would be a plus...


All info is greatly appreciated.

I believe all of the upconverting samsung players can be made "silent" by selecting the Screen Messages : Off under the Display Setup menu, and some of the old ones are with dvi.

There are also mediatek-based players with silent option, but I do not remember the models...
