What do I need to do to steam dvd quality movies to my 360? I have WinXP sp2 but not the MCE. I have all my files in vob format. I tried converting them to divx and used wmp11 to stream, but the quality isnt as good as the vob. Ive also tried to use tversity. I had semi-good results. I can stream the vob files and the quality is great, but it has to keep transcodeing so the movie stops while it loads again. Really annoying. I even tried lowering the resolution, but still the same. Is there something I missed or am I stuck converting to divx and lose some quality?

One option is:


Rename VOB to MPG, you can then watch through Video Library on Dashboard.

No mpg files show up in the my videos. I can play mov and avi movies though. Do I need MCE to play mpgs?
