Hey everyone,

I JUST got my panny e80 and I love it. So, my question is ( I searched with this string already: "finalize AND dvd-ram" and came up with 3 things that didn't relate ) how I can get the videos to my computer. I'm thinking you can with dvd -ram, but I'm curious as to how. I'm copying some of my videos of capcom vs snk 2 (me playing people on xbox live) and just want them on my computer. I see there's no way to finalize the dvd-ram (makes enough sense)... so how does it work? Thanks!

Your pc will need a ram capable drive to play any ram recorded discs...Beyond that, someone more experience will have to guide you.

As has been stated, you need a DVD drive in your PC that will read DVD-RAM. Once you have that, you can copy the actual video file present on the DVD-RAM disk onto your PC's hard disk.

From there, you can edit and author to more 'standard' DVD media (-R or +R) using any of a number of software for that purpose. A favorite around here (and one that I use) is TMPEnc DVD Author. You can edit out commercials, un-wanted footage, create menus, and author/burn the final product.

A good source for learning how to use the various editing/authoring software available is here: VideoHelp.com

Hope this Helps.
