I have begun searching this great forum for answers to my questions but have found that I don't know enough nomenclature at tis point to understand much of the discussions. I am happy to learn if I need but first I have what I think is a simple question. I want to know if it is possible to take a line out of the Dish Network HDTV receiver into my Mac G4 or some other type of DVD recorder so that I can archive in the digital format various TV shows broadcast in either HDTV or SD TV. Is tis possible? What do I need to buy? I just really want to eliminate videotape.
