I'm pretty sure the Pixar films all have it.


The THX optimizer is a good start but you should really be looking at something like AVIA or Video Essentials.


I think you can get them from NetFlix now. Not sure.

Star Wars has it as well. BTW, I second getting AVIA

Although I went with Digital Video Essentials.


If your going to spend hundreds or even thousands on audio/video equiptment, whats another $15 for a dvd that will help you setup your system properly and educate you in the process.

I think many of the older titles don't have thx optimizer. Many new ones (all?) do though. I do recommend a proper test disc such as Avia/DVE, as the THX discs may or may not be exactly correct, partly inherent to the design of the THX system here that was never fully implemented.

My vote is still for Avia or DVE but if you are still intested I found this quote on www.thx.com
