I have a Hughes D-45 reciever that I have used with a Hughes
HDR-205 DVHS recorder with great success over the past couple years. One feature listed in the DVHS manual is the capability to
make digital dubs when two machines are hooked together. I recently purchased a used Hitachi DVHS ,same box/different label
and was trying to hooked them up with a firewire hub.
I read a thread on the "recording HDTV" fourm http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...S+firewire+hub
The final solution being to reset the recieverers {Pana HDTV}
Physical ID in the service menu. Anyone Know how to do this on
the Hughes reciever? Or have a working solution for connecting two DVHS recorders to a reciever? As of now, the reciever will not
recognize the DVHS thru the hub [orange micro] even with the second machine not connected.
