I just finished my installation on my HTPC, win me... and the HM-DH 30000u arrives out of the states her in amsterdam.

No recognition on fire-wire, need dvhstool.

Does anybody know if their is a win me version, in order to get the JVC be

known by pc?

The problem isn't with dvhstool, you need to run Windows XP. The drivers for the JVC DVHS vcrs only come with Windows XP. You can find installation instructions here:
