Anybody know what kind of DVI cable is needed for the projector? I tried two separate cables from RAM that are DVI-HDMI for the purposes of connecting my D* Tivo HR10-250 to the projector. The cable that came with the projector (6') works great. It appears to be a dual-link (24 pin). For my setup, I need a longer run from the rack to the projector (40'). The cables I got from RAM are single link (6 fewer pins). The cable works for 480p resolution but looks terrible (grainy) at 720 and 1080.
My theory at this point is that the BenQ must want dual-link but I can't find that anywhere in the docs. And every long DVI-HDMI cable I find on the net, seems to be single-link.
I don't think the length is the problem based on messages I've read here in the forums. And RAMs cable quality looks to be pretty good...
