Hi all-

So after months of evaluating, I finally used Costco's liberal return policy (it does work) and determined, without a doubt, that after three weeks of viewing the InFocus 4805 I still got headache's (unbelievable, I know). So, I took advantage of a very patient dealer that I met at videogon and purchased a Studio Experience 2HD at a great price.

Everything is almost complete, but I'm still having one problem. I'm watching Time Warner Cable in the Raleigh Durham area through a Cox HD box connected to the projector through a 6 m DVI-D Dual Link cable that I purchased through Cable Solutions.

I've had lots of luck with them in the past, so I purchased their DVI-D cable. Well, last night watching the game I saw "sparkles". It was present on all channels. I know that this is normally a problem with low quality cables affecting bit rate and I've already sent an email to the cable solutions guys, but is there anything else that might be causing the problem? If time allows this afternoon, I'm going to go to Best Buy (taking advantage of another liberal return policy) and pick up a DVD player with DVI output to determine whether it is the HD source-but I figured that I would put up a post and see if anyone had any insights here-

Thanks!

The Moto6200 has terrible DVI output [ not properly implemented ] , I would suggest not using it [ use Component instead ] .

--- Sorry but I do not know what Cox cable uses for HD so if it is not the Moto6200 series then it might not apply [ but as mentioned above it certainly can be source dependent ] .
