OK! Just jumping into the DLP market. I have read the unofficial Guide to HLN DLP, thank you mightily Mr. Gupta. My question is how many gizmos really have DVI output? Is there equipment coming to make use of that connection? And, is there anyone with thought re: Optoma brand dlp TVs?

The CES show displayed many brands of DVD players with DVI output, including Samsung, Toshiba, Denon, LG, Phillips, and Panasonic, which will be available over the next few months. They should look fantastic with a DLP. Comcast cable will be enabling a DVI out from their cable box in the next few months. So yes, there will be plenty of opportunity to use the DVI input on the Samsung DLPs.
