I hate to sound ignorant, but what exactly is pixel mapping, and can you only do it through a digital interface. What are the benifits of pixel mapping.

Pixel Mapping is the only benefit? So, I will not be able to hook up an external digital receiver that has DVI out??? Only an HTPC. What Video card would be best for the pixel mapping ??
