Single link has a 1920X1080 capability which is more than enough to support what you need. If HD content starts gong 1080P then a dual link might be better. Lots of people are hung up on the somewhat overpriced name brand and its all some stores carry
There are several makers of DVI cable that are equal to or better than the scary brand name and you can pocket the other half of the costs. This is just an example.

I picked up the scary brand until my RAM cable came in and there is no PQ difference . So I returned the other cable and saved $$$. If you click the link at the top of any page it brings you to an AVS member page that has discounted prices. I know there are some even less expensive out there, but they are close to me (Ground delivery in a day) and I like to support our sponsors.
